Dr. Surabhi Laxmi Sarada
Dr. Sarada, a consummate danseuse – classical and folk – crowned for her masterly choreography – is a Doctorate in Dance art form – has majored in classical dances and choreography at post graduate level – besides a diplomate in different disciplines.
She is indefatigably engaged in promotion and dissemination of classical terpsichorean art forms and deeply associated with literary, pedagogic, tutoring, training, mentoring and presenting histrionic arts and mastered the art of event management. Gained enviable experience and expertise over Kuchipudi and choreography. The complex subtleties and nuances of her graceful and gorgeous performances on the dias – are visual feasts to art connoisseurs and sciolists alike.
Dr. Sarada is equally an effective presenter and a graded artist(e) at AIR/DD and recognized as a dependable anchor, emcee, programmer, producer, commere and announcer for a wide variety of innovative and challenging areas – agriculture to sensitive issues a la gender and social. Her brilliant style of hosting shows and creative ways in presentation of ballets – are visually magical and aurally musical.
It goes to the rich and rosy credit of Dr. Sarada’s two-and-a-half decades of devoted and dedicated participation and association with a wide variety of educational institutes in tutoring and training the children, youth and other aspirants in dance and theatre arts – in and around twin cities. The tutored include the grand children of our Governor Hon’ble ESL Narasimhan.
It is equally amazing to see her talents blooming and flowering in scholarly pursuits – paper presentations, research papers, write ups and erudite articles – and these include - Darasardhi, Vattikota Alwar – to quote a few – and got published in periodicals like Yojana and Andhra Pradesh etc.,
Dr. Sarada’s versatile and multifaceted interests took her to the domain of ‘Advertisement’ and her lively and lovely contributions in this field are not insignificant to speak laconically.
In recognition of her vibrant and ingenious faculties and talents – she was honored with a handsome number of Awards, rewards, recognitions and felicitations – from the glitterati to literati and the awards include – Nexus éclat Honors society – USA. Unique world records Kuchipudi 2012 – for example.

Presently Dr. Sarada is a staff artist(e) with Song and Drama Division, MIB, and an established and reputed resource person in dance and theatre arts.
Using the Indian classical dance form, Sarvani proposes to take up several social issues and address them in her attempt to perpetuate peace and harmony. She started Sahasra Fine Arts and intends to train many others in this beautiful art form.
